Up to 50 Volunteers Needed for Thespy Competition on November 4
Google Form Survey Available to Express Interest in Serving as an Adjudicator
The popular Thespy Competition will be held as part of the #OhFallThesFest held at Hilliard Darby High School on Saturday, November 4, 2023. Leaders of Ohio Thespians expect to need as many as 50 adult volunteers to adequately adjudicate the Thespy entries from students across the state.
A Google form survey is available for anyone interested in serving as an adjudicator. Completing the survey only expresses your interest and does not represent a commitment. Here is the link to follow to the survey: https://forms.gle/RHi5KSTBJGwNFXD8A
Students will complete in a variety of performance categories including solo monologues, duet acting, group acting, solo musical theatre, duet musical theatre, group musical theatre, solo musical theatre dance, duet musical theatre dance, and group musical theatre. Other students will compete in technical theatre categories such as lighting design, sound design, costume design, costume construction, scenic design. There are three film categories: short documentary film, short film (live action), and short animated film. Other categories include marketing and stage management. All categories require three adjudicators.
